Everyone's heard of American Idol right?
churning out talent after talent from each season, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood etc.

then coming off it is a spinoff for quite a number of other countries, Australian Idol, India Idol and our BELOVED Malaysian Idol :)

i could even stomach it when 8TV made their own talent music contest, One in a Million

what freaking blew me away though, was 8tv making YET ANOTHER copycat almost original singing competition... Project Superstar

when i first caught an episode of it, i burst out laughing watching them sing Gay Jay Chou songs ;p

not bad enough that it was one of his songs, they made it even worse with their facial expressions and how bad they sung it!

the funniest part is yet to come however, when they finish singing and the judges passed their comments which i did not understand in the slightest i admit

the names of the contestants are way too good to miss

"apple", "genie", "cuff", "pink" and "miko" are amongst them...and i bet its not even pronounced apple...

if you approach her asking for an autograph (why would you, though?) i think she'd only respond if you say "hello ahp-purr" *brr*

now imagine my surprise, after all my ranting (and admittedly, uncalled for jibes and insults, yes i know)

to come home and find their van parked outside my house.....OUTSIDE MY HOUSE &@#^*@#*(&@#^@#*(&@#(*!!!!!!

okay fine, so i exagerrated a bit, not outside my house but still quite nearby...

then i find out, their voice coach is actually one of my neighbours!!!!! =O

i am never going to look at this house the same way again

now everyday you can hear them practising their outright shitty almost not even close to mediocre passable :) songs for the week.

its so annoyingly loud that if i don't at least turn on music in my room i can hear their every note

you can almost see the evil that is the song. (kinda sounds cool when you say it out loud, "the evil that is the song". go on, try it.. i know you already did hehe)

they even come in the freaking rain

on second thought...i think i know WHY it rained

and i've saved the best bit for last...check out the name of one of the top 24 finalists
