A Waste of Time (or IS it?): of people.

right. since: -

1) i dont have a blog on my own
2) my fishies are currently sleeping and i dont want to disturb them,
3) the radio DJ has gone home,
4) i want to put off studying
5) i have been amazed, yet again, by certain individuals

and in the light of a recent discovery, i feel the intrinsic urge to do some harmless ranting here and type for absolution. (so pardon me)

since i've been here, malaysia hasnt failed to amaze me (in good and not so good ways)

in my humble opinion, the drama i have experienced here in this short time more than equals my accumulated lifetime experience of drama and controversy. i have met very unique and interesting individuals here. an experience i wont forget for a very long time.

whilst im very accustomed to being misunderstood; as people always allegedly know me better than i do. better than themselves as well.

i personally feel that there is quite a very clear line between speculation and certainty. and when you cross that line and actually speak on behalf of (me) someone (you barely know) with such clarity and certainty, it would be best (for your sake, and mine of course) that you actually knew that you were right.

because when the truth emerges (and it never fails to do so) there might possibly be unwelcomed repercussions (probably when i have actually grown some muscle - and then my biceps (= .. mmm or knuckle-sandwiches x 392583 shall do the talking)

i've always believed that you never really know the true character of someone till a trying or defining moment comes about. sure, people always give away subtle hints and clues unknowingly about their true selves daily.

but its always the defining moment which makes all the difference. and i'm always glad when that moment presents itself. for that gives opportunity to know people for who they really are. way before i would even attempt to speak for them.

anyways,

- how well dya know the people around you?
- do you know them for who they are?
- do you see beyond what they portray themselves to be?
- are they dickheads?
- are they worth your while?
- are they small people?
- do you take everything literally?
- are you living in a well?

anyways again, it would also be splendid if i actually spoke for myself (sometimes?).

an afterthought:

would be nice too if you gently placed a cadaver in your suitably-sized oral cavity before you attempt any further phonation.

i digress, perhaps the world would be a better place if everyone just spent a minute sometime to self-reflect instead of finding scapegoats or excuses which would make them feel satisfied or superior. afterall, its thru self-improvement that we actually grow up.

it would also be nice if people actually thought before opening their oral orifices too. however, it might prove to be an arduous task for certain individuals.

and, as always, there are two sides to every coin.

(well three sides if you include the circumference side)
