Of motivation. Or despair.

ola. well it so happens that i guess some of my comrades / colleagues / batchmates / haters / friends / neighbours / peers / lovers might be facing some inertia (which wont go away) to begin preparation for the exams. (dont mind me, im actually speaking for myself.) do allow me to attempt to give you (and i) some positive encouragement.

i have randomly thought of 10 reasons why you should start preparing for the EOS today :

i) EOS2 is exactly 1 month away. (well 1 month 1 day if you're calculative)

ii) you dont want to be an ungrateful child and squander your parents money. RM 55,200 to be specific + RM 1,000(re-sit fee). its a huge sum of money and their hard-earned money is a product of their sweat and blood(highly unlikely unless your parents donate blood for a living).

iii) you dont want to be suffering from nasal congestion on the day you receive your results.

---> large volume of lacrimal secretions (tears) released from your lacrimal glands --> lacrimal puncta --> (enters) lacrimal canaliculi --> (travels thru) lacrimal sac --> (drains into) nasolacrimal duct into nasal cavity ---> NASAL CONGESTION. = Q.E.D - hoho vanessa, thanks for teaching me this term.

iv) you dont want to spend CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR EVE and NEW YEAR DAY studying.

v) you dont want to go for another orientation as a junior (subject to the invincible medical seniors who have an inflated ego and have their craniums stuck in the clouds - not all of course) - i know i know, i make it sound like i've been thru orientation! (= i was too cowardly to join *blushes scarlet red*

vi) you dont want to have regrets. you dont want to be saying i should have / could have / would have / will have / might have.

vii) you want dont to be a half-baked doctor in the future. you want to have a strong foundation (no pun with relation to foundation I and II) you dont want to kill too many patients. (like what the doctors say ' trust me you will. ' )

viii) you are eager to do your COP and want to do it together with your group.

viiii) i have covered the syllabus 5 times and counting ...

i guess i told an untruth about having 10 reasons. i cant think of anymore. other than you have a burning desire to do better than marcus (the kiasu and mean singaporean) - which is a relatively easy task considering he gets average grades.

alright, i think i had better go shower. i have plans for tonight. yippie. pardon me for this rather unproductive and boring post. i had to talk to myself.
