Of rollerblading. Of the lack of rollerblading.

well well well, rollerblading. hannyee, jimmy and i. east coast park. vivid memories. anyway im sick of all you blog posters who use this blog as a bashing-field to belittle other members of this blog. i shall self-bash in protest. and not make fun of any other blog member.

firstly, we paid for our skates and then proceeded to get our skates. we had to sit on these benches to wear the skates. please refer to hannyee's post (below mine) to study the layout of the place.

rollerblading started off great for me, whilst blading (stumbling) down the slope (the one where jimmy is wearing one sock and one rollerblade) i almost killed an old man and the baby in the pram he was pushing.

having not skated since i was like in primary school (which is like longlongthumb ago), i decided to be a hero (like wentworth miller in prison break) and like wear my blades before the slope. the skateshop guy kinda adviced us to wear our skates at the seats after the slope if we weren't PRO skaters.

however, being a GUY / MALE and egoistic and stuff and totally misjudging and severely over-estimating my skating talent (or lack of it) and ability (or absence of it); i lost my balance while negotiating the steep steep slope (do pardon me if i exaggerate alittle and make it seem like it was really tough) and was very to close EITHER falling unto the floor OR attempting to kill an innocent old man (and IF unlucky, the baby in the pram he was pushing).

being a selfless person by nature, i chose the latter. i tried to stabilize myself by like grabbing on (yet kinda pushing) the old man. i think i tried to hold on to him, and he was (maybe, if my memory serves me correctly) pushing me away, so i changed my tactic and pushed him away too! tit for tat (=

mhm kidding. i think he was trying to reach out a hand and hold on to me (i would like to believe) too. nice man. it really makes my day when i meet these kinda nice people. ahh singaporeans.

after what seemed like an eternity of embarrassment, i managed to keep both my feet firmly on the ground (for awhile). this kind old man, kindly reminded me that there was a baby in the pram that he was pushing. he was really nice about it though, sigh these singaporeans (= arent they all like that. so loving. forgiving. friendly. non-vulgar. smiley.

i red-faced-ly apologized profusely for almost causing him *hyperventilation / palpitations / angina pectoris / myocardial infarction (medical jargons) and pre-mature passing on (layman's English) of his beloved grandchild. i also thanked him for his kindness and gracious understanding. i promise i would have taken a photo with him (specially for the loyal readers - 7 of us) if i had the talent to like 'skate' up next to him and stay perfectly stationary for 0.1 of a second. on a separate note, i am extremely proud to announce that i did not fall during this rollerblading session. hannyee stayed on her two feet for the whole session too/two. (number does not have the slightest relation to the number of people (out of the 3 of us) who did not fall). *quiet humming*

in hindsight, i should have been intelligent like hannyee, she chose to wear her skates after the slope. immense credit to jimmy too, he was the 2nd-smartest-person out of us three. he wore one rollerblade and one sock down, as you can see in the picture posted by hannyee.

well, we rented skates for like 2 hours at east coast park.

but due to totally unforeseen (for hannyee and i) circumstances, we ended up returning the skates after an hour. after proudly (and effectively) covering a total distance of about 66meters (a slight overstatement)

now now, no fingers being pointed at any one person. and no names (blatantly) mentioned and glorified for this marathon of a rollerblading session. however, some accurate clues are given though. this is no bashing session. the tricky clues are as follows:

i) its a SHE (NOTE: sex changed to protect original person's gender)

ii) shis name somewhat rhymes with britney spears' new song. (hint: teewye has an excellent cover of that song - please purchase for free from vanessa; we might even pay you to listen to it)

iii) this mysterious unidentified person is in all 4 pictures posted up by hannyee (the guy in red is only in 3) - untraceable clue.

iv) this person is (definitely) not peeing in his/her underwear in the first photo of hannyee's post

alright then, i think these are all clues i shall leave you with, for fear that you might be able to guess this person's identity. i do feel that its in the best interest of everyone that this person / unforeseen circumstance remain anonymous.

this post is rather unclear and it might be alittle difficult for you to understand if you werent there. i dont have the talent and ability to make it clearer. its not your fault. im the dumb and incapable one. (have to keep my word; self-bashing)

cheers. and lots of love.
